The Senior class of 2017 will be finally setting sail this upcoming month in May! May 25th to be exact. These students have been eager since they walked into their freshman year of High School back 4 years ago in 2013, and now they’re getting ready to walk right out as they cross the Civic auditorium stage to receive the diploma they’ve been working so hard for these past couple years!

Senior year may almost be over, but don’t let Senioritis kick in just yet, there is still much to accomplish. Also, don’t let Senioritis get in the way of the multiple senior activities that are going on!

April 24 -28 Prom Promise

Saturday, April 29 Prom @ the Cleveland Botanical Gardens 7:00 to 11:00pm Saturday, April 29 After Prom @ Garfield Middle School 11:30pm to 2:30am

May 1st SENIOR Skip day

May 9th Graduation Announcement and Caps & Gowns delivery during lunch periods outside of the lunch rooms

May 10th Senior T-shirt Day Friday

May 12th Senior Apparel Day (wear your prospective college, armed forces, or vocational wear) & Senior Recognition Day 2nd period

May 25th, 26th & 30th Senior Exams Tuesday

May 30th Seniors Last Day – Senior Reception @ 3:00 P.M. in the Ranger Café

May 31st Senior Exams make up day Weds

May 31st Final Day to PAY Senior Fees

June 2nd MANDATORY – Commencement Rehearsal 8:30 AM in the Civic

Sunday, June 4th LHS Commencement Civic Auditorium at 2:00 PM

And, June 4th will be here before you know it! Until then Seniors, make sure you’re all set for the next phases in your future, and cherish the last memories that will be made here at Lakewood High!
