    Stephanie Guist

This week’s Person of the Week would be junior, Stephanie Guist. Stephanie is involved in swimming at Lakewood High School for two years, participated in H20 events and was also in French club. Stephanie is a very outgoing, fun-loving and friendly student who would not mind getting to know other people. When Stephanie is not hitting the books or the diving board, she would spend time hanging out with friends. I got the chance to ask her a few questions after school.

Q: What is your favorite class at Lakewood High School so far? Why?

A: “I really enjoyed current events with Mrs. Nazelli. It just made me think about the present and all the things that are affected by today’s actions.”

Q: What are you most excited for about senior year?

A: “I’m excited for a lot of events like prom and physics days besides getting closer to graduation.”

Q: What is your favorite memory about Lakewood High School so far?

A: “The homecoming parade and football game my freshman year was one of the biggest events in high school that I enjoyed a lot.”

Q: Is there any advice you would give to any incoming freshman?

A: “Pick classes you think you would truly enjoy so your high school career is fun while still working hard.”

Q: What are your plans for after school?

A: “I want to go to college at Cleveland State then transfer after four years to either Michigan State or Ohio State and graduate with my doctorate in psychiatry.”
