A fourth hurricane makes its way towards land. Its next destination off the coast of southeastern Cozumel, Mexico. The hurricane has been giving the name of Nate. The eye of the storm is at last report 230 miles off of the coast of Cozumel.

There is currently hurricane watch for US cities along the gulf coast for the next 36-48 hours. There has already been heavy rain within certain parts of Central America. From there raises concern for flash flooding and mudslides. Tides along the Yucatan Peninsula are predicted to raise by 1 to 3 feet as the storm moves in.

Nate will make its closest approach to land, along Cancun and Cozumel, by tonight. Through the weekend to Monday, it is predicted it will travel along Central America and cause up to 15 inches of rain fall within certain areas such as Nicaragua.

The hurricane is believed to even move so far and give lingering heavy rainfall to places as far north as Ohio Valley all the way to the northeastern part of Ohio.

Hurricane Nate along with three other tropical storms brings 2017 into the top 10 for the worst hurricane seasons in recorded history. Millions of dollars of damage with hundreds of lives lost and ruined. All one can do is donate resources and possibly time for a return to normalcy.

Hopes for no human loss during this coming storm are high.
