Ben Harvey is this weeks person of the week. Ben Harvey is a senior this year at Lakewood High School. He is apart of the varsity boys soccer team. Ben has been apart of the soccer team since freshmen year and has been playing soccer since he was four. He is also apart of the famous Lakewood Project, he plays the violin. Ben works at the local Malley’s Chocolates scooping ice cream. Ben is a very easy-going and friendly guy. He is always smiling and loves to joke. I asked Ben a few questions about his experiences in Lakewood and at LHS.

Q: What’s your favorite class?

A: AP Stats is my favorite class. I love Mr. Petto and I learn a lot from him.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: I’m deciding between the University of Dayton and the University of Cincinnati.

Q: What is your favorite extra curricular activity?

A: My favorite hobby is NIMBA. I am apart of the team Soccer Boys.

Q:  What’s your favorite thing about the city of Lakewood?

A: My favorite thing about Lakewood is the diversity of the people. 

Q: What are you going to miss the most about Lakewood?

A: I am going to miss the younger players that I met through soccer.

Q: What is your favorite high school memory?

A: My favorite high school memory was when we beat Saint Edward’s in the Community Cup. We all had a chance to carry the trophy around the entire following week of school.
