    Have you ever wanted to try yoga? Now is your chance! Come to the LHS Yoga Club on Fridays after school in C116. Bring your water bottle and a mat if you have one. If not, we have one for you! We start promptly at 3:15pm, so please be on time. See Mrs. Konopinski to find out more.

     

    Carnations are red, and the cards are too, tell your Valentine how much they mean to you. Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, February 14th. How are you going to celebrate it? Why not purchase a carnation from a Key Club Member. You can purchase carnations for $1 through next Tuesday, February 13th during all lunch periods. Carnations can also be purchased from Ms. Stephenson in room A202 or any Key Club member. The flowers and cards will be delivered to your first period class on Wednesday, February 14th. Buy your carnations today for your Valentine and celebrate love and friendship!

     

    The Winter Formal is tomorrow from 7-10 pm.  This is our first dance in the new gym!  We will also be selling snacks and beverages.

    The decorating committee (hopefully you’ve all turned in your forms) will meet in the cafeteria @ 9:00 tomorrow morning.  If you do not show up to decorate in the morning, you will not be allowed in the dance.

     

    Are you looking for some fun and excitement?  Come to the Westshore Young Leaders high school lock in at the Westlake Rec Center on February 23rd from 8:30 pm to 2 am.  The cost is $10 for fun activities such as movies, sports, dancing, and food.  If you are interested, please come to guidance to get a permission form. Bring your friends to this fun event!

     

    The Girls Track & Field Team will hold a sign up meeting for Outdoor Track & Field, after school on Monday, Feb. 12th in Lecture Hall 3. See Coach Toole in Lecture Hall 3 for information if you are unable to attend the meeting.

     

    Attention staff and students: The Lakewood Rangers Boys’ Basketball team is 15-2 and contending for a Southwestern Conference title. The boys’ basketball team needs your help tonight as they take on the visiting Avon Eagles. We need you to pack the stands and cheer on the Rangers to provide a much-needed boost. Come out, go nuts and support the Rangers’ boys’ basketball team tonight at 7:15pm!
