Tomorrow’s demonstration will be held in the Stadium, so be prepared with warm clothes as we will be outside for half an hour. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a high school community, around something impactful to all of us. It is also worth remembering that this demonstration is in honor of the lives lost from school shootings particularly those who died in the massacre at Stoneman Douglas High School last month as well as to promote school safety in what’s being called National School Walkout Day. We are looking forward to everyone’s participation in an event that will surely be both memorable and significant to the entire LHS community.

This is a reminder that speeches for the school-wide gathering tomorrow are due in the Bookroom this morning, if you wish to be considered, please turn your speech into the Bookroom as soon as possible. Please remember to make yourself available after school, as we will be reviewing speeches and rehearsing those chosen. Meet us in C309!
