Ben Harvey is a senior at Lakewood High School. He has participated in Lakewood Project and the varsity boys’ soccer team throughout high school. He loves to stay active. Ben plays the violin and is in several orchestras in the school. I got the opportunity to ask Ben some questions.

What do you plan to do after high school?

“I plan to go to college. I am planning on either going to Cleveland State University or the University of Cincinnati. I am leaning towards going to Cleveland State University so I can save some money and be closer to home.”

What are some of your favorite classes at Lakewood High School?

“I really like German, physics, stats, and economics. I am planning on going into finance in college and most of these classes have helped me realize that.”

What do you do for fun?

“I like to hang out with friends, listen to music or go on a run. I also love to play music. I currently play the violin but I have been wanting to try the piano soon as well. Along with running, I also like to play in a mens soccer league with the seniors on the Lakewood team since we can no longer play soccer through the school.”

Who is your favorite teacher?

“My favorite teacher is Mrs. Zaremba! She is the sweetest teacher and person I have ever met. I am going to miss her so much next year.”
