    Make sure to pre-order your copy of the 2018 Lakewood High School Cinema as soon as possible to ensure that you receive a yearbook on distribution day. You can either go online at jostens.com or the Bookroom.  The current price is $60, but the price will go up after distribution.  Don’t be left out.  Order your copy now!

     

    Prom goers, if you are trying to find a way to get to the Ariel International Center, look no more.  We will have a free, yes, free, shuttle bus running from LHS to the Ariel International Center and will shuttle back from the Ariel to LHS.  Field Trip permission forms are available in the Bookroom

     

    Are you interested in trying out for the LHS Rangerettes or Flag Corps?  Clinics and tryouts will be held at the Lakewood High School gym this week and next.  Rangerette Clinics are scheduled for today thru Friday, from 5:30-7:30pm.

    Flag clinics are the following week, Monday, April 23rd thru Thursday, April 26th, from 5:30-7:30pm.

    Representative Nickie Antonio will be at LHS today, directly after school in Lec Hall 1, to hold a listening session for students and staff.  Representative Antonio wants to hear from students and staff about issues that are important to them. She will then take your concerns to the General Assembly in Columbus.  This is your opportunity to make your voice heard.

    Pre-Season training for all athletes interested in participating in football for the 2018 season has begun.  Training is every Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00pm.  Please contact Coach Thome at [email protected] with any questions. GO RANGERS!

    Student Council would like to take a moment to thank and recognize all groups and organizations that were meant to be recognized at the Pep Rally, but due to technical difficulties, were not. Those groups are: Gamer’s Club, Barnstormers, Ski/Snowboard Club, American Youth Foundation, Model UN, History Club, Art Club, National Art Honor Society, Race and Diversity, Eaters of Lakewood, French Club, French Honor Society, Key Club, Yoga Club, H2O, Jazz Band, Jazz Workshop, Pep Band, Pit Orchestra, Vive L’Four, Fourtes, Chamber Choir, Four Seasons String Quartet, Lakewood Project, and Academic Challenge! Thank you for all that you do!

     

    The history Club event on the Syrian crisis has been rescheduled.  It will be held this Wednesday at 3:10 in Room C314

     

    Listen Up!  This is a reminder to all students that will be taking the AIR tests!  Please remember to bring your fully charged Chromebooks with you for testing and if you brought a Chromebook in for repair, check in the Bookroom to see if it has been returned!  Also don’t forget to bring your calculator and two #2 pencils.
