Camryn Cole is senior at Lakewood High School. He is one the ten seniors on the boys baseball team. The baseball team is just about half way through their season with the record of 4-6. Camryn plays third base for the rangers. He also played football for four years as a defensive end. I sat down with Camryn and got to ask him a few questions.

Q: What is your favorite baseball memory?

A: “My favorite baseball memory is getting my first varsity hit. It was a very special moment for me and it happened at a Friday night game in front of a lot of people which made the moment even more special.”

Q: How long have you played baseball?

A: ” Since I could pick up a bat and a ball. It was the first sport I’ve ever played and it’s crazy that my competitive baseball career is almost over.”

Q:What were you excited for about this season?

A: “What got me excited for this season was going to Columbus to play some great competition to get ready for some of our conference games and to come back with some unforgettable  memories.”

Q:What are your plans after high school?

A: “I plan to attend The Arizona State University to study marketing.”

Q: How do you feel about going to college so far from home?

A: “I’m super excited to meet a bunch of new people but I’m going to miss my family and my home town and for sure my friends. It will be super different out there but sometimes change and being apart of something new is good.”
