In Nashville Tennessee eight people have been shot at a Waffle House, among those victims was a hero who took action and stopped the shooter before he could harm or kill anyone else. The hero who risked his life to save others was James Shaw Jr.

On Sunday April 22nd 2018 around 3:30 am when out of no where a white male got out of his truck naked only wearing a jacket carrying an assault rifle. He shot two people outside of the store on of them was an employee named Taurean C. Sanderlin, age 29, and customer Joe R. Perez, age 20. Tauren was walking on the sidewalk and he spotted the gunman he tried escaping but failed in doing so.

Inside the restaurant the attacker killed two more people 23-year-old Akilah DaSilva and 21-year-old DeEbony Groves. James Shaw was witnessing this happen so with his quick thinking he tackled the gunman. He then wrestled the firearm out of his hand. In the process of doing so he burned his hand and wounded his arm. The attacker then rushed out of the restaurant.

35 hours later Police arrested 29-year-old Travis Reinking who is accused to be the identified shooter. Apparently has gotten into trouble before for trespassing at the white house. Reinking said he wanted to meet with US President Donald Trump. He told a Secret Service officer at the northeast entrance that he was a “sovereign citizen” who had a “right to inspect the grounds,”. He was charged with unlawful entry but then the charges were dropped after he completed community service.
