    Tyler Latessa, Baylor Tench and to our staff winner Ms. Allen.  Please go to House 1, right after these announcements to claim your prize!

     

    ANYONE wishing to hang posters or signs around Lakewood High School will need to get approval from the Bookroom before you can put anything up.  Also, you cannot put anything up with duct tape, masking tape, or scotch tape.  The only tape that you are allowed to use is the blue painters or Frog tape.

     

    Seniors, (if you attended Lakewood City Schools’ elementary schools) please stop by your house office to pick up your elementary school memorabilia

     

    Attention current LHS students in grades 9-11th.  Football and Competition cheerleading clinics will be held May 14th-16th from 6-8 pm in the LHS gym.  If you are interested, please stop by the Athletic Office this week to pick up a tryout packet.

     

    Seniors in French Honor Society, please come to the book room to order your honor chord for graduation.  Honor Chords are $7.25.  You will receive your Honor Chord before commencement on June 3rd.

     

    Reminder to seniors:  The Ratner, Miller, Chafran Foundation Scholarship is due tomorrow.  There is still time to apply for many other scholarships…..please refer to the “Scholarships” tab in NAVIANCE.  There are also copies of remaining scholarship applications on the table outside of the Guidance Office.

     

    Attention Barnstormers!  Our end of the year picnic is May 17th.  Be sure to pay in the bookroom to reserve your spot at the Luau!  You won’t want to miss what’s in store for the celebration.

     

    Attention all students that MISSED the West Shore Orientation. Please come to the West Shore office right away to pick up your very important packet of information.

     

     

    Top of the mornin’ to ya LHS!!  Travel Club has been approved for the 2019 Spring Break Trip to IRELAND!   An informational meeting will be held on May 22nd @ 6pm in the Ranger Café!   Tell your parents, bring a friend and learn how you can take this next adventure with us!  Questions?  See Mrs. Breckel in A210

     

     

    Attention Seniors:  If you want to make a correction to your slide in the Senior Graduation Video that was shown at the assemble today, you can do so by going to the Guidance office and talking to Mrs. Redaelli.  You MUST complete the form in the guidance office and return it at that time.  The last day to request a correction is today, at 3:15pm.

     

    The Lakewood Project would like to invite you to their spring concert tomorrow night, 7:00pm in the Civic. Come and celebrate our seniors and hear great hits from the last 50 years of Rock and Roll. You can purchase tickets in advance through the bookroom. Students are $3 and adults are $5.

     

     

    Do you play the guitar, piano, bass or drum set?  Do you like rock, pop, jazz, and creating your own music?  Consider auditioning for the 2018-19 Lakewood Project. Audition information can be found outside of the Civic stage door, hanging on the orchestra board.  So simply ask a current Lakewood Project member and they can tell you all about it.  Auditions are May 24th, so hurry.

     

     

    Do you wish you could do something to help support children with cancer and help make a difference?  Consider donating 6 inches or more of your hair to Garfield’s “Hair Because We Care” Club!  Your donated hair will go to making wigs for children who lose their hair to cancer and other serious illnesses.  The donation day is Thursday, May 17th at Revelations Salon in Lakewood at 3 pm. ​

    Please pick up a parent permission form from the Book Room, and please turn in the form to the Bookroom by Monday, May 14th.

     

     

    Student Council elections will take place in the bookroom during the lunch periods all next week. You must have your student ID in order to vote. Be sure to take this very seriously, this is not a popularity contest. Those elected should be responsible, caring, compassionate, good people. Remember to ROCK THE VOTE!
