On a warm Sunday afternoon, the Cleveland Browns fans flooded the streets as the Browns geared up to play against the Baltimore Ravens. Baker Mayfield was set for his second NFL career start and his first game on the Browns home field. He heard the roar of the fans from the field. Baker said that it is an experience he will truly never forget. He brought the first win the Browns have had since 2015. Now he has the opportunity to do this in front of the “Dawg Pound.”

That game, Mayfield completed 25 of 43 passes for 342 yards. The 2018 first pick in the draft had the crowd cheering so loud that they could barely hear the plays from the coaches on the sidelines!

The Browns defense was spectacular where it really mattered. The rookie corner-back, Denzel Ward, from Ohio State University continues to show everyone why the Browns selected him as the 4th round draft pick, as he records his third interception of the season. When the game was on the line, Ward came through with an amazing field goal block and 3 pass breakups. The blocked field goal allowed them to go into overtime and eventually lead them to a win.

The Cleveland Browns won 12-9 as the Browns new kicker, Greg Joseph, kicked a 37 yard field goal to end the stressful overtime game with six seconds left on the clock. This is their 3rd overtime game. Greg Joseph is a rookie out of Florida Atlantic and who played just one season in high school.  He also missed a 55 yard field goal that would have kept us from seeing an overtime game. The Browns finally got their first Sunday win, after 36 games, and the fans were finally able to remember the “Monday victory” feeling.
