    Coastal+Taco+Bar+%2B+Chill

Coastal Taco Bar + Chill is a restaurant/bar in the East Bank of the Flats, near Downtown Cleveland. The restaurant is located on the waterfront.

They sell a variety of tacos: chicken tinga, grouper, barramundi, baja blue cod, “burning river” chicken, grilled steak, crispy shrimp , spanish lentil, short rib, fried avocado, and gringo.

The street sides: black beans, brown rice, spanish rice, salsa choice, and jalapeño slaw

You can also build your own taco.

Coastal Taco Bar + Chill’s owner was asked a variety of questions:

When did it open? Memorial Day, 2015

How many varieties of tacos are on the menu?  Eight, along with daily specials

What types of shells do you offer? Corn and flour – all soft

What are the biggest sellers? Chicken tinga, short rib and crispy baja cod

How is your chicken? This taco’s meat is more of a pulled chicken that is lightly spiced and tends to soak up the flavor of the lime crema. The generous dose of queso fresco is mild and creamy so it doesn’t overpower the dish.

How is the beef?  Filled with flavorful and tender steak, the slaw adds just the right amount of tang while the cilantro adds bite.

What are your prices? $2.50 to $4

Any specials?  Daily specials are based on availability.

What’s your most unique tacos?  Short rib with candied carrots, and an extensive vegan menu, which includes a Spanish lentil and a portobello and chickpea taco.

What makes your restaurant unique? Its disarming atmosphere, with an East Coast beach decor. This is not your typical taco shop!
