Tommy Sala, a senior, signed to play college basketball at Nova Southeastern University on November 14th.

Nova Southeastern University is a private nonprofit college located in Florida. The men’s basketball team is coached by Jim Crutchfield and assisted by Jordan Fee. Sala said ,”I am looking forward to the opportunity of playing in college at an amazing school and great coach.” When he says this is a great school– he means it. Nova has an acceptance rate of around 59%.

Not only is Sala excited about signing to play basketball away at school next year, but is eager to finish off his final season at the high school. This will be his second year playing on varsity. He also had a few words on the upcoming season, “This year should be really fun; we should be a top team in the conference again. Also, I cannot wait to open up our season against Saint Edward’s again.”

Tommy was not the only student athlete to sign today.

Zion Darby committed to play ball at Fairmont State University, Tim Smith committed to play basketball at California University of Pennsylvania, Jordan Kieres will play soccer at Bellarmine University, and Eliza Richardson will play volleyball at Ohio Wesleyan University.
