On Tuesday, December 4th, Travis Scott, a current rapper in the industry, came to Cleveland to perform his latest album, Astroworld at Quicken Loans Arena. He had artists Gunna, Sheck Wes, and Trippie Redd opening the show for him. These three additional artists called for a sold out performance.

Prior to the event, the Q had updated all fans that purchased tickets that the show would be postponed. The information included stated that there were “technical difficulties”, but who knows what was really happening. Within two weeks Travis Scott was back on to perform his hit album.

The order of the show went as followed: Sheck Wes, Gunna, Trippie Redd, and then Travis Scott. Sheck Wes played four songs including his hit Mo Bamba. Gunna also played numerous songs of his own and includes some that typically would feature fellow rapper, Lil Baby. Last opener, Trippie Redd opened with his song Taking a Walk.

After all the hype, Travis Scott surprised the crowd by showing up behind the mob of people. As his album is based on of an amusement park, Astroworld, he had two roller-coasters in use during his performance. Not only did he get on them, but he allowed fans to enjoy the ferris wheel looking roller-coaster track while he performed.

To close the show, Travis Scott played his most popular song off the album, Sicko Mode. This enthused the crowd more than they had been the entire evening. Senior Joe Baire said ” the best thing I ever went to.”

Overall, the concert was definitely one that is unforgettable.
