    Gamers Club will meets tonight from 3-5pm in Lecture Hall 3.

     

    Anyone interested in participating in softball this season, please come to the athletic office during your lunch period to sign up.

    All students interested in playing softball. There will be a softball parent meeting next Monday, February 11thin lecture hall #1 at 5:15pm. The meeting will cover practice times and locations for the season.

     

    The Winter One Act Plays will be performed today and tomorrow; tickets can be purchased in the Bookroom for $5.00 and are available at the door for $5.00.

    Showtimes are today, at 7:30pm, and tomorrow, at 2:30pm and 7:30pm.

     

    LHS seniors seeking to continue their education at a 4-year or 2-year college, university or trade school, are encouraged to apply for Lakewood Ranger Education Foundation Scholarship. The Lakewood Leadership Team scholarship application is available now through the Guidance Office for any senior who intends to pursue an education major.     Are you interested in auditioning for Mamma Mia?  There will be a help session to help you learn the audition songs on Monday, February 11, at 3:15 in the choir room.

     

    There will be a sign up meeting for all boys interested in running Outdoor Track on Tuesday, Feb 12that 3:15 pm in Lecture Hall 1.

    The LHS History Club, as part of Black History Month, will have a presentation on the Civil Rights Movement this Sunday, February 10th at the Lakewood Public Library Main Branch auditorium at 7:00 pm.  All are encouraged to attend.

     

    Any National Honor Society member who was unable to attend Wednesday’s meeting please see Mr. Roth in room A210 to pick up a field trip form. Field trip forms are due to Mr. Roth on Monday!

     

    Carnations are red, and the cards are too, tell your Valentine how much they mean to you. Valentine’s Day is Thursday, February 14th.  How are you going to celebrate it?  Why not purchase a carnation from a Key Club Member.  You can purchase carnations for $1.00 starting today through next Wednesday, February 13thduring all lunch periods.  Carnations can also be purchased from Ms. Stephenson in room A202 or any Key Club member.  The flowers and cards will be delivered to your first period class on Thursday, February 14th.  Buy your carnations today for your Valentine and celebrate love and friendship!

     

    Several members of the Girls Indoor Track Team have qualified for the Spire Showcase Track & Field Meet @ the Spire Institute w/ teams from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York and Canada on Sunday 2/15.

    Freshman Dashaunna Carter and Junior Kate Dyke will be competing in the Long Jump and Junior Christina Auck in the Shot Put.

    The 4×200 and 4×400 relays comprised of Freshman’s Teeghan McGann, Soohomores Alicia Smith & Abby Sacha and Junior Nasia Sheilds will be competing as well. Good Luck Ladies and Go Rangers!
