    Senior T-shirt day is May 8and senior dress-up day, is the last day of school for seniors.

     

    Order forms are available at the Bookroom.

     

    Attention seniors, if you are interested in representing your class and speaking at commencement, you will need to sign up outside the bookroom or outside room C215.

     

    Tryouts will take place on March 12th, at 3:15 in room C215. During tryouts, you will have to present a 3 to 4 minute excerpt of your speech, and will be evaluated both on the content of your speech and your presentation skills.

     

    If you have questions, see Mr. Lamphear in C215.

     

     

    Megan Ashley will be competing at the District tournament tomorrow at Roseland bowling center in Oakwood Village near Solon at 9am for a chance to make it to the State Tournament in Columbus.

    There will be a boy’s tennis meeting next Tuesday, at 3:30pm in Lecture Hall 1.  All are welcome.

     

    There will be a Girls Track and Field Parent Meeting next Wednesday, at 7pm in the LHS Cafeteria.

    This meeting is mandatory for all girls running Track this spring.

    The 17thAnnual Physics Cardboard Boat Regatta sponsored by Tavens Packaging and Display Solutions is scheduled after school on Tuesday, March 5th.

    We are currently looking for Lakewood High School Clubs or Groups to build cardboard boats and participate.

    We are also looking for staff to participate and/or volunteer at the regatta.

    Please contact Mr. Hille in room A312 to sign up or get more information about this year’s cardboard boat regatta.

    The Varsity and JV Academic Challenge Teams will be going to the Copley Invitational Tournament this Saturday, to compete in a field of 56 teams from all across Ohio.

     

     

    Astrology Club is having its first meeting next Tuesday, Feb. 26th.

    We will meet in Ms. Sabin’s room, B208

    The wrestling team will travel to the Ohio High School Athletic Association sectional tournament tomorrow to start their journey to the state tournament.

    If you wish a wrestler luck, he may give you a Lakewood wrestling shirt!
