    Attention Gamers Club members! Gamers Club will be held today in Lec Hall 3.

    We will make this a potluck party, so please bring a snack or drink to share with the group.

    Attention juniors!  If you did not take the S.A.T. test on Wednesday, March 6th, you need to attend the S.A.T. make up day.

    See your counselor immediately.


    College Credit Plus intent to participate forms are due in the Counseling Department no later than April 1st.

    Forms will not be accepted after April 1st.


    Seniors!  Local scholarship deadlines are coming up fast!

    If you or your parent or guardian, are a member of the PTA, the Lakewood Council of PTA’s Scholarship’s deadline is today.

    Lakewood Ranger Education Foundation deadline is March 14th.

    Lakewood Leadership deadline is March 15th.

    The Kiwanis Club of West Shore deadline is March 15th.

    The Lakewood Kiwanis Foundation deadline is April 1st.

    Scholarship applications can be found outside the School Counseling Department (formerly known as the Guidance Office), and in Naviance under the scholarship tab.  Click on the scholarship link. 



    Attention all National Honor Society members, our next meeting is Wednesday, March 13thafter school.

    We will be meeting in the cooking rooms on the second floor, for our annual cookie bake.

    Please see an officer or Mr. Roth in A210 if you have any questions.



    Attention all Mama Mia Crew members!

    Monday after school, we will meet in Ms. Sabin’s room B208, and work until 5pm.

    Then there will be another meeting Thursday.

    Hope you can join us for this exciting event.

    There is a schedule outside B208 of all crew times.


    Congratulations to the following winners of this year’s Physics Cardboard Boat Regatta!  Over 400 people came to watch these students try to float their boats made of cardboard and clear packing tape across the pool. 

    This year’s winners are……

     4thplace – Emma Walker, Maddie Zingale, Seth Andregg, Will Adams

     3rdplace – Faith Hampton, Frankie Bruening, Ally Latham, Cameron Levis

     2ndplace – Jessica Salloum, Sofi Dunay, Emily Perry, Sophie Sanders

     1stplace – Tommy Sala, Devon Brown, Caleb Watson, D’Anthony Hanible

    This year 25 out of 43 boats successfully paddled across the 75-foot pool, which is a 58 percent success rate.

    The team of Emma, Maddie, Seth, and Will, set a 7thbest time on the all-time list, with a time of 22 seconds!  Even faster than them, were team Tommy, Devon, Caleb, and D’Anthony, who set a record 3rdfastest boat in Lakewood Regatta history, with a time of 17.5 seconds!  Well done!!

    Thank you to all of the volunteers, and congratulations to all those involved in the 17thannual LHS Cardboard Boat Regatta!
