    James Morrissey

This baseball season is going to get a whole lot better with senior Left Fielder James Morrissey at the mound. He has been a baseball varsity athlete for three years now and has been performing well.

James Morrissey is not only a star on the baseball field but he is also a star in the classroom. He is a hard worker and always does his work. He truly is a student athlete. I got to sit down with him and ask him a couple of questions.

    Q. Favorite part about baseball?

    A. I just love the game. I know a lot of people think it’s slow but if the game is played right its the perfect balance between being with your friends and competing.

    Q. Favorite memory about baseball?

    A. My favorite memory would have to be when we beat St. Edwards on senior night last year.

    Q. What Athlete do you look up to and why?

    A. I don’t look up to anyone in particular because I am my own athlete.

    Q. How long have you been playing baseball in your life?

    A. My whole life, ever since I picked up a baseball I felt a connection to the game.

    Q. Why did you choose baseball?

    A. I don’t only play baseball, I just feel like baseball season is the best and I am always looking forward to stepping on the field.

    Q. What are your plans after High School?

    A. I plan on going to Ohio University and study Aviation there. I am very excited to go there next year.
