We all love Wiz Khalifa…at least I hope we all do. Songs like, “Black and Yellow”, “Work Hard, Play Hard”, “Young, Wild & Free”, and even more recent songs like “See You Again”, which was dedicated to the death of Paul Walker in 2013, have been staples in Wiz Khalifa’s career. He’s been famous for most of my lifetime, and throughout my childhood. Now into my teen years, he continues to drop great music. “I think he’s pretty cool, I like his music”(Joseph Howell).

Wiz Khalifa just released his newest album, “2009”, this year. The whole album gives a soothing old school vibe while meshing with modern-day sound. He’s told his fans that he plans on dropping his newest project on April 20th, 2019. Khalifa tweeted on Sunday, April 14, “It’s called Fly Times Vol. 1: The Good Fly Young.

While celebrating the ninth anniversary of one of his mixtapes, Wiz named the all-star production team that he brought in for the project. This team consists of people like Cardo, Harry Fraud, Statik Selektah, etc. He also told fans that Curren$y (Wiz made his “2009” album with him), Chevy Woods, Ty Dolla Sign, Problem and Sosaman will appear with some verses.

For the 2019 Coachella, Wiz Khalifa performed a variety of his greatest hits. The latter song was one that he dedicated to Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle. On March 31st, Wiz tweeted this about Nipsey’s death, “Me Spitta and Nip was all sleepin’ on couches when we linked up. This got me super sad.”

Khalifa will give his fans an inside look at him raising his six-year-old son Sebastian with his ex, Amber Rose. He’ll also offer an exclusive version of his rise to stardom in music over the last ten years and an insight on the people who have been with him since day one, with Apple Music’s, “Wiz Khalifa: Behind The Cam docuseries”, which releases on April 17.

Don’t forget to check for Wiz Khalifa’s new album on April 20th this year. “I’m dropping another project on 4/20. Don’t forget,” said Wiz on April 14th. It’s sure to be a project that won’t disappoint. One of Wiz’s main goals is to bring everyone together with music and to create great vibes among people and within yourself.
