Parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their little bundle of joy on Monday May 6th. The Duke and Dutchess of Sussex made their public debut and introduced their first-born during a photo call at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, May 8th.

The couple announced the name of the baby later in the day Wednesday: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Archie is the seventh in line for the throne. Unlike his cousins’ names, the new baby’s moniker isn’t drawn directly from the family tree. However, Markle has commented on the fact that the baby is “really calm”, and has the “sweetest temperament”. To which Prince Harry added, “I don’t know who he gets that from.”

The Duke and Dutchess of Sussex mentioned that they were fascinated on how frequently the baby’s appearance changes. This has created a challenge for them to decide who the baby looks like most.

When asked about what it was like being a parent Markle responded that it was a “dream” being a mom. Prince Harry responded that parenting is amazing, “We’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and be able to spend some precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.”

This isn’t the first Royal baby that has sparked major news outlets to report on. Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William, has had already three kids that have been the star of many news articles in the past.

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, was all everyone could talk about in 2011 when they had their Royal Wedding at Westminster Abbey in London, United Kingdom. Father of Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Prince George congratulated the couple with a typical dad joke. He joked, “I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my own brother into the sleep deprivation that is parenting.”

The new baby was scheduled to meet Queen Elizabeth II later in the day Wednesday. When asked if she had any comments on the new baby senior at Lakewood, Andrea Brittany, said, “The baby is so cute. Even though I don’t live in the United Kingdom I am obsessed with the Royal family.”
