    Lindey’s Lake House Opening

You may remember seeing the empty building where Jammy Buggars used to be. The building has since been bought and renovated into brand new Lindey’s Lake House.

Lindey’s Lake House is set to open Monday, May 13th. It’s the third Lindey’s Lake House in the Northeast Ohio area.

The first location is in Beachwood and opened up about a year ago.

The second location is in the Flats. Doody and Co. renovated, refurbished and remodeled the former Coastal Tacos in April in hopes of upgrading the restaurant. Now, a little over a month later, Lindey’s has grown into a culinary troika.

“It’s exciting,” owner Rick Doody says about the location at 15625 Detroit Ave., near Westwood Avenue. “The space looks cool, kind of compact, good vibe in there. It’s just sort of evolved.”

The small plate menu will include dishes like crab cakes and calamari, wedge and chopped salads, al pastor and chicken tinga tacos, crispy flatbreads. Entrees include fried chicken, fish and chips, lobster rolls, taco platters, and steak frites.

They also have a range of brick oven cracker-thin pizzas. They have a weekend brunch menu that includes dishes like french toast, eggs benedict and avocado toast. Weekend brunch goes from 11am- 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Because the area draws in a younger crowd, Owner Doody wanted to incorporate less high-end offerings, and include vegan options. These vegan options include Korean barbeque cauliflower tacos
