Lakewood City Schools have been a large part of creating who I am today.  The high school has helped me pave the way for my future, while still giving me memories I will hold close to me forever.

Some of my favorite memories include the pep rallies, the Gatsby art museum trip, and when Drake Bell came and performed. My high school experience was filled with many choir concerts, Friday night football games and basketball games, interesting classes, and many, many friends.

Some of my favorite classes I took were Horticulture, Human Rights, Creative Cooking, Fiber Arts, and Choir. If I could take any classes that I didn’t get to take I would take Chinese 4, Photography, and Ceramics.

To all the future students or underclassmen at Lakewood High School, have fun and make the most of your high school experience. Join clubs, and find things to do with the school. The more you do for or with the school, the more it will mean to you in the end.

After Lakewood High School, I will be attending Bowling Green State University with a major in Music Education.

I chose Bowling Green because they are known for their music department and they aren’t too far from home. I chose Music Education because music has been so important to me throughout my life. I want to be able to share my passion for music and inspire others to love music.

Lakewood High School will forever be a large part of my growth and success, and I will carry the memories and friendships with me for the rest of my life.
