Attending Lakewood High School has been an interesting experience. I have had some great teachers, met some of my best friends, and have experienced a lot through clubs and sports.

Some of my favorite memories come from my time on the soccer team and swim team. I was on the soccer team and swim team for all four years of high school. Throughout those years, some of the best times have been the team dinners, team sleepovers and the bus rides. It was really fun to get to know everyone on the team and getting to participate in team traditions.

I also have made some of my favorite memories in the classes that I took. One of my favorite classes was Cinema with Mr. Ebner. I took his class for four years and I learned so much. It has been an enjoyable experience to be a part of making the yearbook every year. I even got to design the yearbook cover my senior year.

The advice I would give to underclassmen is to take your classes seriously, especially during freshman and sophomore year. The years only get harder, so it is important to take advantage of the classes that are easy.

Next year I will be attending the University of Southern California to study environmental engineering. I am not sure that I will stick with this major, but I wanted to give it a shot. I also really wanted to get out of Ohio, so California seemed like the best option.

My time here at Lakewood High School has been an adventure. I am glad that I was involved in a lot of different activities and took advantage of the opportunities here at Lakewood High School.
