The student of the week is Siwita Ali Shah. Siwita is currently a senior at Lakewood High School. She is the secretary of Youth City Council. She is also involved in many school activities while still balancing her part-time job and school and social life. When asking her questions about her school life, this is how she responded.

Q: What do you want to do after high school?

A: ” I really want to go to navy or air force. It’s always been my dream to join navy and I think I’ll go for that”

Q: What has been most difficult thing of your senior year so far?

A: ” The hardest thing I think is to manage my school work and study time as well as trying to take some time out and enjoy the little things that make my senior year and high school fun and memorable.”

Q: What is the best part of your senior year?

A:” To graduate”

Q:How do you balance your school work with all of your other activities?

A: “I try to take out time for everything but still it is sometimes overwhelming”

Q:What advice would you give for the seniors of next year?

A: “The best advice I would give is to make sure that you are on right track and stay focused on whatever your goals are. Don’t let anything distract you and have the best time of your life because it is sad to leave to all your friends and to see yourself growing into an adult sooner or later.”
