Do you have a special someone you want to take to winter formal? Do you love to sing? Love to dance? Love to party? Then the winter formal is perfect for you!

The Lakewood High School Student Council is a group of students that address and organize student events and activities. Being a member of student council helps you develop many skills. Some of these skills involve communication, problem-solving, delegating tasks, organization, teamwork, budgeting and planning/coordinating events.

Lakewood High School’s Student council will be presenting this year’s winter formal on Saturday, February 15th, 2020 from 7:00 to 9:30 PM at the gym in Lakewood High School.

If you are interested in attending the winter formal, pre-sale tickets are $15 each and you must have the signed form/contract with you at the time of your purchase. If you want to bring a student from another school district, then you will need a form signed by their principal to show that the student is doing well in school academically. Once pre-sale is over, tickets will then increase to $20 after Wednesday, February 12, 2020. Absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door.

“I loved going to winter formal especially since I got to party with some friends and had fun listening to the amazing music that they played,” said Austin Ballestero, a 2017 Lakewood high school graduate.

If you are a student at Lakewood High School, gather your friends, get dressed up and come party with other Lakewood students! At the low cost of $15 before February 12th, it will be worth every penny!
