Meet Anna Trentel – a senior here at Lakewood High School. She is a very energetic and athletic person. I decided to ask her a few questions about her future and her post-secondary options.

What is your favorite thing about Lakewood High School?

“My favorite thing about Lakewood High School is how diverse it is within my peers and how many great classes and opportunities that we have here.”

What will you miss the most about high school?

“I will miss seeing my close friends every day, making jokes, feeling safe and having a good place to go and be myself each and every day.”

What was the best part of your senior year so far?

“Honestly, the best part is knowing that I am almost done with high school and also just feeling accomplished of making it this far.”

What are your plans after high school?

“After high school, I plan on taking a year off to travel. I want to actually live my life and relax. While doing this, I will also be saving up money to attend CSU.”

What is some advice for the underclassmen?

“Some advice I will give to the underclassmen would be that even though it gets hard at some points and you feel like you can’t do it anymore, you HAVE to push through it. Eventually, you will learn how to balance so much at once. Just because you are in high school now and you think you will have more freedom, you are so tempted to just push things to the side and do it last minute. Don’t be lazy, dream big, but also be realistic. I promise it’s going to be hard but I know you can do it!”

Throughout your whole high school experience what teacher has affected/helped you the most?

“Throughout my entire high school experience, I feel that Mrs. Eadah has helped me the most.”
