“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” Movie review

Emma Perry

Another teen romance novel turned into a creative movie has made it’s way to Netflix in 2018,” To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.” This sad but love-filled movie is about a girl named Lara Jean, played by Lana Condor as older Lara, and Isabelle Beech as younger Lara, who has written 5 love letters throughout her 16 years of life to the boys she had once fallen in love with. The letters, hidden and kept in a box, never meant to be put out into the world, were sent to those 5 boys.

John Ambrose plays Pavel Piddocke. Kenny is played by Edward Kewin.  Peter Kavinsky is played by Noah Centineo as the older Peter and Hunter Dillion as the younger Peter. Josh is played by Israel Broussard.  And Lucas is played by Trezzo Mahoro. In the movie, the boys she had written to all had their own reactions. John Ambrose had not written back yet. Edward Kewin was not interested. Lucas is gay and soon becomes one of her best friends. And Peter Kanvinsky becomes the main love interest in this fantastic romance movie.

This movie is packed with love, comedy, drama, and, of course, romance. I give this movie a 5 star rating!
