    Help To Others

H2O, Help To Others, is a club that gives back to the community, they help people in need and create opportunities for many students to receive service hours.

A Lakewood High Junior, Cassie Palmisano, says her favorite events to volunteer at are the holiday events, specifically pumpkin palooza. “I love that I’m able to use my artistic abilities and give back to the community at the same time. I always look forward to decorating the hallway for the kids and making it look cool.”

H2O connects the youth of Lakewood to volunteer opportunities and it’s a great way to meet new people and create connections.

The service program has been giving back for over 25 years and has made a major impact on the community of Lakewood. They volunteer at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, the Ronald McDonald House, CVMP, and they deliver groceries to the citizens staying at the Westerly as well as many other places.

Cassie says “I love volunteering at the Westerly; it’s a great way to hang out with friends while being productive and giving back to the community.”

The H2O office is located in the cafeteria, Mrs. C, One of the founding members of the program, is normally in there to answer any questions about H2O.
