    Let Everyone Pass

    Let Everyone Pass

School is one of the most important things for a child growing up. You meet your friends through school. You learn responsibilities that rival that of an adult. School is where you are molded into the person you will be for the rest of your life.

However, in spite of the recent Coronavirus epidemic, school has been taken out of every child’s routine. Instead, the school board has opted that we take online schooling in order to ensure that we do not fall behind on our work. I understand where the school board is coming from, as it is their job to make sure that we get a proper education.

But, I don’t believe that online schooling is having the desired affect that the school board had planned. Personally, I am having trouble retaining the information that is sent home for me to learn. My grades are rapidly sliding, and I have noticed that other peoples grades seem to be doing the same.

I propose that all students should pass for the rest of this year. We have already worked through three quarters, and with everything going on, I think it would be best for everyone. Let both students and teachers focus on staying safe during these times. We could make-up work next year if we had to, but the number one priority for everybody should be safety.
