Every student looks forward to their senior year of high school

Starting in elementary school you become a member of your senior class year

The class of 2020 started their academic careers in 2007 as little kindergartners

They have put in all the hard work, time and effort over the last 13 years 

They have spent their high school years watching the seniors before them graduate 

They had their dreams and expectations of their own senior year to come

It started out normally just as every other school year except this was last year of it

They were looking forward to all the fun things that come with senior year

They were counting down the days to the milestones like prom and graduation

Everything was on track until the middle of March when it all came to a halt

March of 2020 will go down in the history as a pandemic took over the world

As a result their senior year first was put on hold then it was completely cancelled 

They won’t have the proms or graduations or goodbyes as every class before them 

What should’ve been their best year ever was taken away in the blink of an eye 

And now it is all over!
