There is nothing better than curling up with a cozy blanket, a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, and a good book to read!

Here are some great books to read for our fall season!

    1. “The Haunting of Hill House” by Shirley Jackson. This book is about 4 friends who find the “hill house” and discover some dark secrets about the haunting of the house.
    2. “‘Salem’s Lot” by Stephen King. Thousands of miles away from the small township of ‘Salem’s Lot, two terrified people, a man, and a boy, still share the secrets of those clapboard house. They must return to ‘Salem’s Lot for a final confrontation with the unspeakable evil that lives on in the town.
    3. “Practical Magic” by Alice Hoffman. For more than two hundred years, the Owens women have been blamed for everything that has gone wrong in their Massachusetts town. Their elderly aunts almost seemed to encourage the whispers of witchery, with their musty house and their exotic concoctions and their crowd of black cats.
    4. “The Alchemist” by Paul Coelho. An Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago who travels from his homeland in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of a treasure buried near the Pyramids.
