Apple Orchards are a fun activity for families and are a cute date idea. In an apple orchard, people can pick the apples straight off of the trees and get other fruits and vegetables.
Geig’s Orchard, located in Seville, Ohio, is a nice apple orchard to visit. They offer Concord grapes, Honeycrisp, Cortland, Holiday, Shizuka, Golden Delicious and Jonagold apples. They also offer apple cider when you visit the orchard. They offer a market where you can grab fresh-picked apples. Self-picking days are October 2, 3, 9 and 10.
Pick ‘n Save Orchard is another self-pick orchard. You can take kids and shop in the market. This one doesn’t offer any other attractions other than the market and self-picking. To be able to self-pick, their website has a sign-up for a certain time and date so they can limit the number of people picking apples.
Apple orchards are a nice place to bring kids to get out of the house and get outside. Not many orchards are offering self-pick because of the Covid pandemic and growing complications, but they all offer a market to grab fresh produce from.
