Out in Rocky River, the city’s annual fall Avant-Garde Art and Craft show is going to be held. As in years passed, the annual festival will display a large collection of both local artists and crafters, all there selling their homemade items and pieces, including paintings, drawings, jewelry, soaps, knitwear, designs, along with even more original, handmade pieces. These unique items and art designs are going to be accompanied by a full concession stand, which will cater to the visitors of the art show.
Public visitors to the venue will have to pay a $3 fee to attend the events and shop at the art stands, while all children under 12 are allowed to attend free of charge. As well, the avant-garde art event is still accepting vendors to work the show, so any unique and original artists who create homemade items can definitely work at the show and sell some of their work.
As well, a portion of the proceeds collected from the beautiful venue will be donated to a local nonprofit organization, the Karen Foundation for MS, a nonprofit group dedicated to providing direct assistance and help to North East Ohio families and people suffering from multiple sclerosis. The exciting event will be held at Rocky River Memorial Hall, next to the recreation center, on 21015 Hilliard Blvd. The event will be held for two days, on Nov. 13 and Nov. 14. On the Saturday venue, the event will start at 10 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m., and on Sunday the event will start at 11 a.m. and finish at 4 p.m.
