At Lakewood High School there are two bowling teams. There is the Varsity Girls Bowling and the Varsity Boys Bowling. Both teams practice throughout the winter and compete against different schools! Both teams have their first match on November 18th at 9 am at Brook gate Bowling Lanes. Come support the Bowling team and all of their hard work! They have lots of games going on up until February, when they compete in the SWC tournament.
Sophomore Mya Blume gives a quote about why she enjoys being on the team! She said, “I really like being on the team because even though sometimes we don’t have the best scores or the greatest game, the rest of the team still cheers you on as if you have only been hitting strikes.”
