Graduation Parties

Graduation+Parties
Ana Roberts

With the year coming to an end, seniors are starting to plan their lives after graduation. By preparing for college students need to look for roommates, decide on a college/career, and set up dates for graduation parties. With graduation parties, students have to communicate with all their friends so they can figure out the best time and date for their party. Graduates don’t want to have a party the same day as their friends because they can miss each other’s party.

During graduation parties, the person hosting invites all of their family and friends to celebrate being done with high school.  People usually come with money as graduation gifts so the student could use it for housing or for college purposes. Graduation parties are a good way to make money for the next step in your life.  Graduation parties in general are just a good way to celebrate 12+ years of school and marks the end of an era. It also marks the beginning of a new era. It is a way of displaying what students next step is in life and what their new journey is.

Graduation parties can take place at a venue or just simply in your backyard. People usually have food catered like Italian Creations or Barrio. The food is set out for the guests and whoever wants to eat at whatever time. There are usually younger pictures of the graduate hanging around the house to look back on how much they have grown. Their accomplishments throughout high school are typically displayed to celebrate all they have done.
