Student ID Check

Student+ID+Check

On Tuesday, Sept. 20 during homeroom, there was an ID check. Lakewood High School homeroom teachers made sure students had their ID with on them, that they had an updated photo on it, and that they had stickers with their lunch period, late arrival and/or early dismissal. Wearing an ID everyday in the school building is very important.

Here is what the House 2 principal here at Lakewood High School, Mrs. Wojtkun, has to say about the importance of an accurate ID:

“One: It’s board policy that we wear our ID’s everyday. It tells staff if you are a student at Lakewood High School and it tells staff when you have your lunch period so you know when you can be in the lunchroom and not skipping a class. It also tells if you have early release and then also tells you if you have late arrival and then 12th graders have it so that they can be scanned to come back in and that they have permission to have open campus for lunch.”

If you happen to lose your ID or need a new updated one, you can get one from the Book Room by the cafeteria for $5.
