Lakewood students: on Friday, Sept. 30 after school, there will be a Homecoming Spirit Parade. Line up for the parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Lakewood Park and it will follow a route up to the high school for the homecoming football game. Fans and students are encouraged to find a spot along Clifton Blvd and Bunts Ave. to watch the festivities.
The parade will showcase some of the clubs and organizations offered at the high school. So far, the parade will include the following: LHS Boys Soccer Team, LHS Girls Soccer Team, the Middle Schools Cheer, Lakewood Baseball, Le Cercle Francais, Girls Tennis, LHS Ranger Marching Band + 8 Grade Bands, Lakewood Board of Education, Art Club & National Art Honor Society, LHS Gymnastics Team, Middle School Orchestra, LHS Volleyball, Middle School Choirs, and Middle School Cross Country.
The parade will be contingent upon the weather.
