Last week was Spirit Week for the students at Lakewood High School! Students in all grades look forward to this week as they show off their school pride leading up to the big dance on Saturday night. The photography department came up with a super fun way to document the festive outfits worn by the students throughout the week. Mrs. Hansen, with the help of her AP photography students, put up a photo booth in the cafeteria located by the Book Room doors. 

The polaroid photo booth was available during lunch periods (periods 5, 6, or 7). Each picture was $2 or $3 for two pictures. Teachers and staff were also given the opportunity to buy their pictures in advance with Mrs. Hansen in B206. Next to the backdrop, you could find fun props and exciting ways to spice up your pictures. This was a great way for students to be able to look back at the memorable moments they had with their friends throughout the week. 

AP Photography student, Duniya Abukhali said, “The photo booth was a big success.” The profits made from the booth will all go towards the Photography Department and their upcoming projects. The senior also added, “It was super fun to be able to give students a way to remember this time of the year. Especially the seniors since it is our last homecoming spirit week”.
