On January 26th, Barnstormers had an open mic at the Black Box Theater here at Lakewood High School called Barney’s Cafe. Barney’s Cafe lasted from 7:00-8:30 PM. Outside the Black Box Theater was a paper you could put your name and performance type on. Audience members could also volunteer to perform since this was an open mic performance. Also at this open mic, there were baked goods like cookies and cupcakes provided for $1. Students and guests performed songs, magic tricks, and poetry. Some performers performed songs on guitar and piano while others played music.
