Valentine’s day is around the corner and with Valentine’s comes dates, and with dates comes the big decision on where to go. When looking for restaurant options you want a place with good food, reviews, vibes, and easy travel. Lakewood has many nice restaurants that meet all these guidelines.

One really gorgeous restaurant is Georgetown Vosh located on Detroit Rd. It has stunning seating on the inside and in the back of the restaurant, it has a beautiful display of Igloos(plastic made), with comfortable seating in them, and insane lighting. When going here you can eat inside or recommend an igloo in advance. They have a 4.3-star rating out of five. They offer amazing food differing from calamari, to chicken parmesan, to different types of pizza. They not only offer delicious dinner options, but their dessert options are also lovely too, such as their creme brulee. Many reviews say the service is extremely good, and it would be a great date night spot.

Another great spot is Bar Italia located on Detroit Ave, this is a lovely Italian restaurant. The lighting in Bar Italia is also fantastic, and they have a beautiful array of windows covering the whole front of the restaurant so you have a good view of the outside. They have a 4.6-star rating and offer a great variety of Italian foods, differing from rigatoni with red sauce, to Italian wedding soup, and tiramisu. Reviews say the food was incredible, and the setting of the place was very romantic. Reviews also say the hostesses were very kind.

Valentine’s day is all about romance but if that’s not your vibe there are more laid-back restaurants as well where you can still enjoy a good meal. A good recommended spot would be Dewey’s pizza it’s a really nice restaurant with amazing food but they offer a  more relaxed dining area. They have a 4.7-star rating and reviews say the experience was great and the food was perfect. They offer a large array of pizzas and salads.
