Air Testing Schedule

Air Testing Schedule

Hello students! As you approach the end of the school year, it’s easy to get excited for summer. But, before you can get excited, there is some unfinished business for students. Air Tests! Ohio’s State Tests measure student progress toward Ohio’s Learning Standards. They help us make sure every Ohio student receives a high-quality education. Student test results show that students have the knowledge and skills they need to move successfully to their next steps in education or a career. These tests are given around April, where you can test what you learned throughout the year.

These tests take up a majority of the school day. Some from first to fourth period, first to fifth, or even first to third. The school is now allowing students if they do not have a test, do not come in during testing times. This is extremely nice for juniors and seniors since they have no air tests except possibly one. The school days are now modified. For instance, on Thursday, April 13, the English 2 test will take place in the cafeteria. Students should report at 7:45 a.m. and testing begins at 8 a.m. Then around 10 a.m, students are dismissed and lunch will begin 5 minutes later. Lastly, at 11 a.m, students start to file in for their 5th period class. The schedule resumes to 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st. Also, the schedule will flip some days will be 6th, 8th, 9th, 2nd (for attendance), 2nd, and 7th.

If you know you will be testing, stop by guidance or check emails for the altered school schedule and testing schedule to know your testing dates and periods. Let’s work our best and happy testing, students!
