Gaby Carroll-Greeves , Student News

On Tuesday, April 25, National Honors Society is holding a meeting in room Lecture Hall #2. This meeting will be held after school. They will be holding officer elections for the next school year. National Honors Society is fun, important, and a great way to be involved. If you have any questions about the upcoming meeting please see an officer or Mr. Roth in A210.

National Honors Society has been a true mark of student achievement for many years. It helps frame leadership, character, service, and scholarship in a student. Grades 10-12 can be in NHS. There are many things that are required and expected to be a part of National Honors Society. To be eligible you must have at least a 3.6 grade point average. You are then selected by a 5 member faculty council. Lakewood High School is one of the many schools that offer NHS!
