Friday, January 31st:
Girls basketball loses in a tough battle against Normandy with a final score of 41-46. Ava Cuffari led the lady rangers with 13 points and had 6 rebounds.
Friday night, the Rangers Boys Basketball team defended their #1 spot in the Cleveland West Conference with a great win against the Normandy Invaders with a score of 43-35. Although the team was down 8 points at halftime, they fought hard to make an exceptional comeback to take the win. Senior Lucas Seguine led the way by overcoming first half foul trouble to finish with 13 points, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 3 rebounds. Sophomore Riley Verderber also assisted the team with his amazing play with 14 points and 12 rebounds. With great ambition and play, the Rangers Boys Basketball team have done phenomenal this season. The Rangers will play again on Tuesday, February 4th, against the Rocky River Pirates at home. This game will be very intense as a win will guarantee a Conference Championship for the Rangers!
Saturday, February 1st:
The boys and girls wrestling matches went well, winning the first dual by 36-30. In all it was a good fair fought match.
