Tuesday, February 11th:
Last night, the Lakewood Rangers boys’ basketball and sideline cheer teams dedicated the night to their spectacular seniors. The boys played hard in an intense game against the Lorain Titans. Honorable mention to Luke Vannucci for securing the title of 1000 points scored during his basketball career at Lakewood High School. Unfortunately, the Rangers fell short to the Titans after two overtimes with a final score of 90-80. Shoutout to the boys’ basketball team seniors Mohammed Abuzahriyeh, Luke Bonvissuto, Brady Long, Stephen McAuliffe, Julian Sayre, Lucas Seguine, Aidan Smith, and Luke Vannucci for putting their all onto the court last night as well as into the team overall. Also, congratulations to the Ranger cheerleading seniors Madelaine Gabella, Kenla Hamilton, Isobela McLaughlin, Ella Munn, Jana Peterson, Sophia Schelgunov, and Jasmin Thompson. The Rangers boys’ basketball team will be back on the court on Friday, February 14th against the Bay Village Rockets at Bay Village High School.
Special shoutout to Senior, Drew Wallen, for qualifying for the State Diving Championships last night as well!
