Wednesday, February 5th:
Girls basketball traveled over to Rocky River on Wednesday night to play the Lady Pirates. Despite a tough-fought game, the girls lost 27-40. Tomorrow they play Valley Forge for their senior day.
At their final NEOITC meet, the girls indoor track team set multiple new records: Mae Mohar broke the senior class 3200m record with a time of 12:23, Bre Bufford broke the sophomore weight throw class record with a distance of 25’5”, and Charieon Doxley broke the 60m hurdle record with a time of 9.6, ranking #5 in Ohio. She also broke the long jump record with a distance of 17’11.5”, ranking #2 in Ohio.
“It’s so important to not give up on yourself. There’s going to be highs and lows, but I like to remind myself you have to keep going and the hard work will always pay off,” said Charieon Doxley.
Thursday, February 6th:
Last night, the boys and girls wrestling team had their senior night here at home in the gymnasium. Congratulations to our seniors Stella Ziegler, Savannah Tate, Zayna Muntaser, and Titus McAlvey as they wrap up their final home matches of their senior year.
