Lakewood Lacrosse captains of the game against the Boardman Spartans

Wednesday, April 16th:

Last night, baseball defeated Valley Forge with a final score of 16-0. Cooper Russell had 3 hits, and Andrew Jones and Logan Ellis each had 2 hits. Jackson Comer pitched 3 innings with no hits, no runs, and 6 strikeouts. He also hit his first varsity career home run. Tonight they play at Normandy starting at 5pm. 

Yesterday, the boys lacrosse team faced off against the Boardman Spartans. After a hard fought game the Rangers sadly fell to the Spartans losing 6-14. The Rangers play again, away at GlenOak High School April 26.

Kylee Zingale (she/her) is a senior at Lakewood High School. This is her first year on staff. She enjoys listening to music and hanging out with her two dogs. She works at Goldfish Swim School as an instructor and lifeguard. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends.

Sophia Schelgunov (she/her) is a senior at Lakewood High School. This is her first year on staff. She is a varsity cheerleader for the sideline and competition cheer teams at LHS. She is a lifeguard for Foster Pool at Lakewood Park during summer breaks. She devotes her free time to spending time with friends, listening to music, and movie nights.
