Last night, the girls tennis team took a bus to Bay Village High School to face the Rockets. The Rangers Tennis team meant business as they stormed through the Rockets winning four matches to one. The JV girls also got after it, winning most of their exhibition matches. Junior Brynn Broadwater and sophomore Peyton Diemert played a strong doubles match to help hoist the Rangers to victory. The girls tennis team will be back in action tonight, Sept. 9, at home where they’ll take on Elyria Catholic High School.
The girls volleyball team hosted Hudson at 6:30 p.m. last night, welcoming the Tigers to the Rangers’ gym. The team put up a valiant fight before falling in the third set. Senior setter Erin Boyer reached 900 career assists, earning her the daily “Who Put the Hustle in” award. Congrats, Erin — we hope you reach 1,000 before your career at LHS is over! The volleyball team will be back in action tonight at home against the Rocky River Pirates. Go Rangers!
