All smiles for girls’ soccer.

Wednesday, Oct. 15

Lakewood girls’ soccer played Hoover last night, winning 2-0. Lakewood played an amazing game, controlling the ball on offense for most of the match and making great blocks on goal. From the Sidelines’ “Who Put in the Hustle” award goes to freshman Teagan Sefchick for scoring both goals and leading the team’s offense. Special shoutout goes to Sheldon Matlock for being a star ballboy and making sure the team gets a new ball hastily. Lakewood girls’ soccer will play again at Roosevelt Oct. 21.
