Wednesday, January 29th:

Last night, our Lady Ranger basketball team fought hard against Cleveland Heights and came out on top with a score of 50-48. The team was resilient throughout the game with players Ariana Hueter leading with 15 points, Addison Garrett with 11, and Charleigh Doxley with 12. The team’s Seniors, Elizabeth Doup, Ava Cuffari, and Madison Comer also celebrated teacher appreciation night and invited their favorite teachers to join them at the game. Next up, the Lady Ranger basketball team will face the Invaders on Friday at Normandy High School

Rangers for a Cure also attended and supported the game and had huge success selling raffle tickets, shirts, and more to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Their next event will be at home on Tuesday, February 4th during the Ranger Boys basketball game against the Rocky River Pirates.

Sophia Schelgunov (she/her) is a senior at Lakewood High School. This is her first year on staff. She is a varsity cheerleader for the sideline and competition cheer teams at LHS. She is a lifeguard for Foster Pool at Lakewood Park during summer breaks. She devotes her free time to spending time with friends, listening to music, and movie nights.

Kylee Zingale (she/her) is a senior at Lakewood High School. This is her first year on staff. She enjoys listening to music and hanging out with her two dogs. She works at Goldfish Swim School as an instructor and lifeguard. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends.
